The Killing Machine eBook Michael Tinker Pearce
I enjoyed this story thoroughly, and was left wanting more after I finished it.I have been fascinated with AI controlled weapon systems ever since I read my first Bolo story "The Last Command" when I was 13. I am a Techno-Geek, and I credit stories like this for putting me on the path to my career in computers. This is a slightly different take on the theme, in that the human characters really do not understand the "thinking" processes of the AIs they have built. The human character, and the reader, unlike the Bolo stories, are not privy to what is going on the minds of the machines they have created, and are left to guess at their motivations based on observed behavior (rather like dealing with other people!).
I look forward to more in this setting from this author.

The Killing Machine eBook Michael Tinker Pearce Reviews
I liked the book very much. It did not take to long to read it. T he story kept you in suspense all the way through it. I would recommend it to every body that wants to read a real good short story.
A prescient look at what war might be in a couple of decades, written last century. A quick, effective picture is painted, and I want to read more.
